sYMBOLOGY pROJECT

This was a fun project and I enjoyed working on it.  I actually enjoyed working on all the projects in this class.  This project was interesting becuase I have always in the past worked on making very detail images and thought symbols boring.  The reason being is I always picture the boring bathroom symbol to let us know if it is a female or male bathroom when I think about symbols.

We had to choose two subjects from a list of subjects.  I chose mountain lions and wolves.  I wish I could include all my sketches, because I am super proud of them.  There is probably roughly over 40 pages of sketches alone.

Those were the scans of the mountain lion sketches I made. I was really proud of this set, but once I start work on the wolf, I became much more attached to finding a way to show the wolf differently than had been done before.

See?! Aren't the wolves awesome!?  I love them so much.  Might actually work more on them.  I enjoyed working on them so much, that it might be interesting to see what I can do with the ones that were chosen to continue.  The following images are of the final images. I really enjoyed this project, haha but I already said that.

Hope you enjoyed looking through these! I did and I made them. :p Gives me a sense of what I am capible of, and with projects like these, I am happy with what I am seeing.
