Last semester we had so much fun in photography. I was lucky enough to have such a great set of students doing amazing work. As part of the fun, we set up a photography show. It was titles "This is not an Exhibit." It was a play on this is not a pipe by René Magritte. The discussion was that the image was indeed not a pipe. It was a painting of a pipe. It was a canvas with paint that was a painting of a pipe. The exhibition was set up as a surprise to be about the content to the public. None of the photographs shown in the show were used in getting people to come. Anyways, we gave out a few awards to the students for best of show and we had a great turnout. Extremely impressed with all the work from the students. A big thank you should also go to Bossier Arts Council for supplying the space! Below is a showcase of the images from the show! Enjoy!
