FIRST BLOG

2/19/2015

Comments

I feel like I should address my first blog post as if I am writing my reader's a letter.  This is funny considering I don't have any subscribers or readers.

I am hoping to accomplish a few things with this blog.
  1. Have a place to update what I am creating, designing, and working on.

  2. Work on my writing skills. As a designer, I find myself working less and less on skills I learned in elementary school and high-school.  As a designer, I feel I need to be well rounded, and to be well rounded, I should be able to communicate effectively.

  3. Make new friends!  I love meeting new people, hearing new stories, telling old stories, talking, and learning about someone new.

  4. Get some critique.  Like I told my friend Calee today.  If I couldn't take critique I wouldn't be a designer, and critique has all the benefits of giving us new insight into something we didn't see or think about before.

So with that I will probably close out this post.  Do some research on one of my projects and come back with a post about what I am working on.

Looking forward to some comments and feedback! Have a happy day all! After all, today is a new day with no mistakes in it yet.
